Client Manager (Commercial Insurance)

Location: United States; office-based work with periodic client visits. A valid unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Solicitors license is required.

Salary: $64,700–$120,400 base salary annually, plus potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Provide advanced technical support to Client Executive Service and perform Client Administrator duties for existing clients.
• Analyze coverage, claims data, loss runs, and claim status reports for new and renewal business.
• Prepare renewal specifications, draft proposals, loss summaries, large loss reports, and stewardship reports.
• Prepare experience modification projections and review calculations from state rating agencies and bureaus.
• Review and correct policy documents, coordinate policy delivery, and support accounts receivable collections.
• Participate in client visits, renewal and new business presentations, marketing activities, and E&O audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of daily client service experience, or at least 3 years of directly related insurance industry experience with increasing responsibility.
• Valid unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Solicitors license required.
• Strong understanding of insurance terminology, insurance brokerage operations, and commercial insurance lines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems logically, and present information clearly in written and oral communication.
• Ability to work at a computer and remain seated for extended periods; occasional overnight travel to client sites may be required.
