Critical Facilities Technician (Data Centers)

Location: Conesville, Ohio, United States. On-site role supporting 24x7 facility operations, including scheduled property tours. Work may include day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as 12-hour shifts and overtime.

Hourly pay: $35.00–$45.00.

What you will do

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot critical and non-critical mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life-safety, temperature control, and building management systems.
• Coordinate electrical operations, maintenance, energy management, change control, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversee employees and third-party contractors during safe and compliant maintenance and modification work.
• Execute preventive and corrective work orders, procure materials, and complete documentation in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Respond to fires, evacuations, equipment failures, customer concerns, and other emergency situations while improving operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 3–5 years of experience supporting electrical or mechanical critical facilities, or 7+ years as an HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
• Ability to work overtime and extended 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, critical facility operations, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
• Computer skills, including MS Office.
• Electrical or mechanical certifications are preferred.
