Senior Counsel, Data Center & Infrastructure

Location: Sunnyvale, California, or remote within the United States. Hybrid role.

What you will do

• Execute data center acquisitions and digital infrastructure transactions from diligence through closing.
• Negotiate colocation, powered-shell, build-to-suit lease, capacity reservation, development, and connectivity agreements.
• Advise on post-acquisition construction, design, long-lead equipment, and supply chain transactions.
• Address regulatory questions and disputes arising from infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate across teams to manage project interdependencies and risk.

Requirements

• 6+ years of direct legal experience with data center providers, neo-clouds, or hyperscalers on infrastructure transactions.
• Fluency in technical concepts related to compute infrastructure, hardware specifications, data center operations, long-lead equipment, supply chain, power, and utilities.
• Experience negotiating real estate or physical infrastructure agreements, including colocation, powered-shell, build-to-suit, capacity, and connectivity agreements.
• Experience with transaction diligence, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution for data center or infrastructure projects.
• J.D. and active bar admission required.
• Practical judgment, initiative, and adaptability; a mix of leading law firm and in-house experience is preferred.
