Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Location: Fully onsite in the Denver, Colorado office. The role is based at the Centennial, Colorado office and requires U.S. citizenship with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance.

Base salary: $115,000–$160,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage the security posture of classified information systems and support day-to-day security operations.
• Build and maintain RMF packages, including SSPs, POA&Ms, SCTMs, hardware and software inventories, and network topology diagrams.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures for assessment and authorization activities.
• Collaborate with system administrators and network engineers on security patches, secure configurations, and STIG compliance.
• Participate in the Change Control Board and review proposed hardware, software, and firmware changes for security impact.
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessments to support continuous monitoring and certification and accreditation activities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant work experience in information system security management or security operations.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance are required.
• Knowledge of ICD-503, DAAPM, NISPOM, JSIG, NIST 800-53, RMF, and STIG requirements.
• Experience with configuration management, security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and continuous monitoring.
• Eligibility under U.S. ITAR requirements is required, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or the necessary authorizations.
