TL;DR
Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) I (Cybersecurity): Advising on and managing information-system security programs for Collateral, SCI, and SAP environments with an accent on RMF authorization, JSIG compliance, risk assessment, and security documentation. Focus on evaluating system threats and vulnerabilities, coordinating authorization boundaries, implementing incident-response and configuration-management controls, and maintaining secure operations for defense programs.

Location: Onsite in Bedford, Massachusetts, United States. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required; the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI poly is required.

Salary: $109,735–$148,465 per year, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

What you will do

  • Advise government customers and program managers on information-system security, RMF assessments, authorization, and security testing.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate security policies and guidelines for Collateral, SCI, and SAP systems, including JSIG authorization processes.
  • Perform risk assessments, threat and vulnerability evaluations, security posture reviews, and periodic system assessments.
  • Prepare, review, maintain, and recommend authorization and assessment documentation for system authorization boundaries.
  • Manage security incidents, corrective actions, configuration control, system recovery, media sanitization, and protection of hardware and data.
  • Coordinate security training and awareness programs and perform ISSO duties when required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience, including prior ISSO or ISSM experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or an associate degree plus two years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification, such as Security+ CE or CCNA Security.
  • Working knowledge of DoD, national, service, and agency security policies, manuals, and standards.
  • TS/SCI clearance required; ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI poly required.
  • U.S. citizenship required for this onsite Bedford, Massachusetts role.
