Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $180,000–$195,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate system security implementation and security processes for system development and modification.
• Provide cybersecurity and information assurance expertise for acquisitions and DoD security documentation.
• Support system assessment and authorization, COMSEC certification, and RMF activities.
• Design, develop, implement, and integrate cybersecurity, information assurance, and cryptographic architectures.
• Serve as a system security implementation expert for assigned programs, including IA protections and requirements.
• Conduct technical and nontechnical reviews and support audits, development, and testing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance, including cryptographic engineering architecture, requirements, development, and implementation.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• One of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, GSLC, or CCISO.
• Experience with hardware, operating systems, applications, security features, vulnerabilities, and IA vulnerability testing.
• Experience with cryptographic development and certification under NSA/CSS policies, Program Protection Plans, DoD and federal security processes, and RMF A&A documentation.
• Current Top Secret security clearance required.
