Engineering Manager (Digital Mental Health)

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and support a remote-first full-stack engineering team of up to eight engineers.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and support engineers through feedback and career development.
• Guide technical decisions, sustainable architecture, and near- and long-term engineering strategy.
• Drive outcomes across reliability, observability, developer experience, continuous integration, data and ML tooling, and infrastructure cost management.
• Improve agile practices, delivery cadence, ways of working, and learning approaches.
• Partner with the VP of Engineering and cross-functional leadership to deliver technical solutions and prepare the engineering function for future growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager attracting and retaining strong engineering talent.
• Experience leading healthy full-stack engineering teams in a remote environment across geographies and time zones.
• Servant-leadership approach focused on team success, individual growth, and learning from failure.
• Strong knowledge of modern software development, quality, and reliability practices.
• Experience with data-informed iteration, agile and lean delivery practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading high-profile, consumer-facing projects to timely execution and delivery.
