Director of Professional Services

Location: Fully remote, open to applicants residing in Canada. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, available to travel approximately 15–20% to meet clients in person, and able to work hours overlapping with EST, CST, or PST.

Salary: Base $175,000/year CAD; bonus $40,000/year; OTE $215,000/year CAD.

What you will do

• Own P&L and book-of-business performance for a $3–5M portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and margin protection.
• Oversee delivery quality and outcomes across ERP/SaaS implementation engagements.
• Lead and develop consultants, business analysts, and project managers while balancing resources across active engagements.
• Serve as the senior escalation and relationship point for key customers.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support on scope, pricing, roadmaps, priorities, and customer outcomes.
• Identify delivery and financial risks, improve delivery processes, and implement mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in professional services, project management, or software and technology roles.
• 3–5 years of leadership or management experience, preferably at Senior Manager or Director level in Professional Services.
• Experience managing a project portfolio, P&L, book of business, profit margins, and revenues up to $3–5M.
• Hands-on leadership of ERP/SaaS implementations, customer escalations, technical scope discussions, sprint planning, and collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Must be based in Canada, legally eligible to work in Canada, available for 15–20% travel, and able to overlap with EST, CST, or PST hours.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Technology, MBA, or another advanced degree.
• Experience with Canadian K–12 and nonprofit sectors, including school boards and nonprofit organizations.
• French proficiency.
• Experience managing remote global teams and fixed-budget contracts.
• Experience using AI or AI-assisted tools for delivery or operations.
