Senior Solutions Architect, Pre-sales (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead discovery and architecture for scalable, secure, and resilient SaaS solutions.
• Partner with sales teams on customer workshops, technical questions, RFPs, demonstrations, prototypes, and proofs of concept.
• Design and build front-end pages, extensions, integrations, APIs, and data-driven user experiences.
• Define CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, automated deployment, observability, security, and reliability practices.
• Apply AI tools responsibly to coding, testing, automation, solution design, and client-facing workflows.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, support Agile execution, mentor architects, and transition solutions into delivery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software, cloud, or solution engineering, including 3+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
• Experience leading discovery sessions, technical workshops, executive briefings, and solution presentations.
• Strong proficiency in one or more of JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java, Python, or Go, plus software architecture, distributed systems, and secure coding.
• Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks, back-end services, APIs, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs, integrations, databases, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and deployment automation.
• Ability to lead complex workstreams, influence cross-functional partners, mentor colleagues, and evaluate AI security, privacy, and governance considerations.

Nice to have

• Experience with higher education systems, enterprise SaaS platforms, identity and access management, or complex SIS/ERP integrations.
• Multi-cloud experience and familiarity with Terraform, containers, and cloud automation.
