Software Engineer II - Captive (Python)

Location: Remote

Salary: $105,000–$135,000 annually, plus corporate bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, high-performance software systems.
• Build front-end interfaces, back-end APIs, and end-to-end features across core platforms.
• Write clean code and use AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Implement automated test suites, validate core functionality, and prevent regressions.
• Participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and resolve complex software bugs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and guide junior engineers on industry best practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in a modern general-purpose language, with primary expertise in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Node.js.
• Experience designing, architecting, and implementing scalable end-to-end solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, advanced SQL, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, pull requests, code reviews, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
