Staff Product Designer (Conversational AI Platform)

Location: Currently fully remote in the United States, with a planned transition to a hybrid, hub-centric model based in Miami, San Francisco, and New York.

hirify.global is a fintech company building an AI-powered conversational financial companion for Latinos in the US, starting with remittances and expanding into credit, savings, and wallet services.

What you will do

• Lead discovery across products by interviewing users, analyzing conversation transcripts, and using product analytics to identify friction and retention opportunities.
• Define design patterns for declarative and generative UI, including component constraints, defaults, fixed elements, and recovery paths for incorrect model outputs.
• Ship the first conversational product experiences on WhatsApp and establish how those patterns extend to native iOS and Android surfaces.
• Set the direction for how products coexist in one conversation, how context is carried across interactions, and how users understand financial actions.
• Partner with squad designers, product managers, engineers, legal, and risk to bring the platform direction into product teams and compliance experiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing consumer products, including at least two years leading design for a conversational or AI-native product.
• Experience leading discovery across product teams and turning research into adopted product direction.
• Hands-on experience with declarative UI; generative UI experience is advantageous.
• Deep Figma fluency, comfort prototyping in code, and experience shipping at least two mobile products end to end.
• Experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Design, or Codex to support design craft.
• Native or near-native Spanish and advanced English are required. A portfolio containing at least one conversational or generative UI project is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, another regulated domain, or with the WhatsApp Business Platform or similar messaging surfaces.
• Experience with generative UI tools such as json-render.dev or A2UI.
