Senior HR Generalist (Medical Technology)

Location: On-site in Irvine, California, United States

Salary: $88,000–$108,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for up to a 10% annual bonus

What you will do

• Support HR Business Partners across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, organizational changes, performance management, engagement, training, and compliance.
• Serve as a primary contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and daily HR matters.
• Independently manage investigations, performance concerns, corrective actions, and involuntary separations.
• Coach managers on performance management, feedback, documentation, and policy application.
• Execute onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, organizational updates, and compensation changes.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Strong employee relations experience, including independently managing investigations and workplace issues.
• Solid knowledge of California employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong HRIS proficiency, including transactions, reporting, data audits, and workforce analytics support; experience with Workday or Oracle is relevant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Irvine, California.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Experience leading HR projects or process improvement initiatives.
• HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
