Sr. Manager - Facilities & Automation Management (Automation)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas; Las Vegas, Nevada; Louisville, Kentucky; or Pittston, Pennsylvania, United States. Requires 50% travel to regional fulfillment facilities and after-hours availability for emergencies.

What you will do

• Manage maintenance operations across multiple fulfillment buildings and lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Build reporting, ticketing, Standard Work, and escalation mechanisms that improve equipment visibility and reduce downtime.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance for powered industrial trucks, conveyor systems, PLCs, robotics, and other automation equipment.
• Partner with operations, IT, inventory, transportation, loss prevention, and safety teams to maintain safe and efficient facilities.
• Manage maintenance budgets, track spending, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee regional maintenance projects.
• Communicate facility status, risks, and objectives to senior leadership and provide emergency support when needed.

Requirements

• Location: United States-based role with 50% travel flexibility required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, construction management, or a related technical or business field, or 10+ years of progressive facilities and maintenance leadership experience in complex industrial environments.
• Experience managing maintenance teams across multiple locations, including coaching and technical skill development.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical automation, complex conveyor systems, PLCs, powered industrial truck maintenance, and maintenance ticketing systems such as Limble.
• Experience creating reporting mechanisms, escalation protocols, predictive maintenance practices, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification from IFMA.
• Experience integrating robotics and future automation technologies.
