Controls Engineer

Location: Onsite in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Must be able to work across three shifts when necessary and already have US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain control systems, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems.
• Evaluate new manufacturing and control technologies and adapt them to specifications.
• Design and execute test procedures to verify control-system functionality and safety compliance.
• Support manufacturing, process engineering, and other engineering disciplines with technical information.
• Audit equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, request supplies, and define and review preventive maintenance plans.
• Implement process improvements that support quality, efficiency, cost, and safety goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with control systems, robotics, automation, PLC programming, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to coordinate several projects.
• Existing US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not specified.
