Senior Test Manager (Defense)

Location: On-site in Beavercreek, Ohio, United States; moderate travel required at 20–40%. Core working hours are 0900–1500.

What you will do

• Develop and support execution of test strategies across airborne connectivity product lines.
• Coordinate developmental and operational test organizations on detailed test plans, resources, and execution.
• Serve as a liaison among test units, contractors, users, program offices, and weapon system stakeholders.
• Provide expert test and evaluation guidance for command-and-control, aeronautical, subsystem, and support equipment programs.
• Monitor cost, schedule, technical risks, contractor performance, and program objectives across acquisition phases.
• Prepare technical input and briefings for government leadership and industry representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of experience in systems engineering and/or test and evaluation, focused on Air Force acquisition programs or comparable DoD systems.
• Experience with requirements verification and validation, planning and execution events, risk management, project scheduling, and software backlog management tools.
• Ability to manage complex technical, contractual, financial, and programmatic activities in a DoD acquisition environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and SAP eligibility required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD or intelligence community prototyping and experimentation.
• Expertise in software integration and testing, command-and-control or battle management systems, and system-of-systems integration.
• At least two years of experience with Special Access and/or SCI programs.
• Experience with AFSIT and JITC certification testing.
