Salary: $111,000–$143,600 USD per year for California-based roles

is a high-growth defense technology company developing Leonidas, a software-defined system that uses intelligent power management to help power-hungry systems do more with less.
What you will do
- Lead research and development projects from initial planning through delivery of first-article solutions.
- Serve as both scrum master and product owner within an agile development framework.
- Bridge engineering and technology teams with marketing, sales, operations, and other stakeholders.
- Create and manage agile or hybrid project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and related artifacts.
- Track technical feature delivery, milestones, deadlines, dependencies, and project risks.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams, remove obstacles, and shape technology products around customer value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and at least 2 years of relevant project management experience.
- Experience in high-growth startups, aerospace, or related technical environments.
- Experience deploying and integrating hardware and software systems, with prior systems engineering or software integration experience.
- Experience building, leading, and developing small engineering teams.
- Experience hosting and leading technical and non-technical reviews with cross-functional audiences.
- Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.
Nice to have
- Experience with JIRA or other agile project management platforms.
- Proficiency with MS Project or Smartsheet.
- Engineering or operations leadership program experience.
- Previous work on Department of Defense projects.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and goal-setting skills in fast-paced environments.
