Advanced Battle Management System Test Manager

Location: Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, United States; travel to TDY locations as needed, approximately 25%

What you will do

• Manage schedules and documentation for complex command-and-control system-of-systems test projects from initiation through completion.
• Write, edit, maintain, and track technical test documentation, including Test and Evaluation Master Plans, strategies, test plans, and reports.
• Analyze courses of action and recommend improvements and optimizations to test leadership.
• Organize and interpret test data to support DOD decision makers and turn findings into actionable knowledge.
• Coordinate with System Program Offices, military services, development contractors, and test engineers.
• Manage collaboration, document management, and meeting scheduling systems.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a technical field and 10 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
• Prior experience in Developmental Test and Evaluation and with the Deficiency Reporting process.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders on project scope, status, schedules, and required documentation.
• Advanced proficiency with Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to travel to TDY locations as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced technology test programs, IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and software development practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development, DevSecOps, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Knowledge of DODI 5000.89/DAFI 99-103, capabilities-based test and evaluation, and Middle Tier and Software acquisition pathways.
• Knowledge of battle management processes and systems operating at multiple security levels.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
