Project Procurement Specialist (Energy)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a local supplier base for solar and wind projects.
• Lead RFQ and RFI processes, including cost benchmarking, bid evaluation, and supplier onboarding.
• Manage NDAs, contract negotiations, supplier qualification, and project risk assessments with legal and technical stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for utilities and EPC or turnkey projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, construction, logistics, and finance teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Source critical grid-tied components such as MV switchgear, SCADA systems, battery enclosures, and transformers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement planning and project support within energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of EPC or turnkey project procurement, including technical specifications, commercial terms, and risk considerations.
• Experience with supplier qualification, contract negotiation, subcontractor management, category management, and vendor onboarding.
• Fluency in English and either Dutch or German is required.
• Working knowledge of EU and local energy regulations, compliance standards, and market practices.

Nice to have

• NEVI or CIPS certification.
• Experience supporting TSO or DSO clients such as TenneT and Elia.
• Knowledge of a Nordic language.
• Experience sourcing grid-tied components, including MV switchgear, SCADA systems, battery enclosures, or transformers.
