Manager Projects & Excellence Transport Materials (Supply Chain)

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands. The role has a global scope and requires access to controlled technology under United States Export Administration Regulations; candidates must be legally authorized to access the technology before starting.

What you will do

• Lead the Projects & Excellence team and drive operational performance, quality, and continuous improvement for transport material maintenance, repair, and reconditioning.
• Develop and deploy the Transport Materials Excellence roadmap, including cross-sector projects, business capability improvements, data and IT initiatives, standardization, and governance.
• Manage the integrated project portfolio with defined scope, ownership, milestones, dependencies, business impact, and decision requirements.
• Own the Return4Reuse application and budget, and expand transport material registration, track-and-trace, return, and reuse processes across factories and locations.
• Improve pool-size calculations, availability planning, KPI dashboards, data ownership, and performance reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members and project leads while aligning hirify.global sectors, factories, suppliers, and logistics service providers.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, planning, operational excellence, or business transformation in a complex high-tech environment.
• Managerial experience leading teams, programs, and cross-sector stakeholders with end-to-end improvement responsibility.
• Experience developing and delivering transformation roadmaps and project portfolios with measurable business outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with transport materials, return and reuse flows, packaging, logistics operations, supplier collaboration, and supply chain capability development.
• Experience with data-driven performance management, KPI development, dashboards, process ownership, IT-enabled improvement, Lean, Agile, BPI, and structured problem-solving.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with maintenance, repair, reconditioning, and external service-provider management.
• Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry.
