BEES Program Supervisor (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Must be located in the greater Santa Fe Springs, California area. Hybrid work is available with one remote day per week subject to business needs. Travel throughout Central and Southern California is required approximately 30%–40% of the time.

Salary: $25–$28 per hour, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily BEES program operations, including outreach, survey scheduling, field activities, application review, pipeline management, reporting, and database updates.
• Supervise program staff by assigning work, monitoring priorities, supporting training, coaching performance, and escalating concerns.
• Conduct and oversee outbound calling to prospective commercial customers to promote no-cost energy efficiency surveys and increase participation.
• Represent the program at events, trade shows, community meetings, industry forums, and other outreach activities.
• Review survey documentation, customer reports, energy savings calculations, paperwork, and submittals for accuracy, completeness, quality, and compliance.
• Monitor production, quality findings, customer feedback, documentation, and reporting, and recommend corrective actions to the Senior Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, energy, environmental science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least two years of experience in program coordination, program operations, field operations, customer service, or a related role.
• Experience coordinating staff assignments, tracking production, reviewing documentation, and supporting customer- or client-facing programs.
• Experience with databases, customer relationship management, activity tracking, reporting, and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Valid California driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and minimum required vehicle insurance are required.
• Must be located in the greater Santa Fe Springs area and able to travel throughout Central and Southern California 30%–40% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience supervising, leading, training, or coordinating staff.
• Experience with energy audits, energy surveys, energy savings calculations, or assessments of commercial and industrial equipment.
• Experience with data analytics, reporting, quality assurance, or quality control.
• Bilingual Spanish or another language.
