Environmental Health Safety & Sustainability Manager

Location: North Jackson, Ohio, United States; onsite facility-based role.

What you will do

• Lead daily health, safety, industrial hygiene, emergency response, environmental, and security activities for the facility.
• Evaluate workplace hazards, establish control measures, conduct inspections and audits, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees and contractors while supporting a proactive safety culture.
• Manage hazardous waste, stormwater, air emissions, industrial wastewater pretreatment, and other environmental compliance programs.
• Maintain the Environmental Management System and lead projects supporting ISO 14001 certification.
• Oversee incident investigations, return-to-work and Workers’ Compensation cases, EHS reporting, EHSS staff, and Chem Lab operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education or relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of progressive EHS program management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
