Manager, Microsoft 365 Engineering & AI Enablement

Location: Washington, DC, United States; in-office 4 days per week

Base salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year, plus potential discretionary incentive compensation

What you will do

• Design, configure, administer, and improve Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, and Purview.
• Lead Microsoft 365 and Power Platform projects from requirements and solution design through testing, rollout, adoption, and operational support.
• Build automation and business solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, APIs, Microsoft Graph, and PowerShell.
• Engineer identity and access integrations using Entra ID, Conditional Access, role-based access, application integrations, and guest access.
• Partner with Cloud, Enterprise AI, Security, IAM, Legal & Compliance, and business technology teams on secure, compliant platform and AI solutions.
• Evaluate Microsoft roadmap changes, AI capabilities, licensing impacts, risks, and adoption paths while maintaining architecture standards, runbooks, and support models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an Information Technology, Computer Science, or related concentration is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant technical experience, including 3 or more years engineering and administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Working knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft security and compliance capabilities, Purview, Defender, and Intune.
• Experience leading Microsoft 365 or Power Platform changes, migrations, integrations, feature rollouts, or automation initiatives.
• Ability to build scripts and integrations with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, APIs, Azure services, Copilot Studio, or related AI tooling.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, or AI.
• Experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI services, AI Builder, or approved large language model APIs.
