E & A Integrator (Defence)

What you will do

• Lead the integration of electrical and automation systems across multidisciplinary projects, particularly in the defence sector.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between engineering disciplines, systems, subcontractors, suppliers, and end users.
• Review and validate technical documentation, drawings, functional specifications, control philosophies, and system architectures.
• Identify and resolve integration and interface issues throughout engineering, execution, and commissioning.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and commissioning activities.
• Act as the technical authority for E&A integration while providing guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Technical vocational qualification at MBO level with significant relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree at HBO level in electrical engineering, industrial automation, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant experience in electrical and automation engineering, system integration, industrial automation, or complex technical projects.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects, complex technical interfaces, industry standards, safety regulations, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
