Director, IT Global Finance and Accounting Solutions

Location: Hybrid role in Marlborough, Massachusetts, or San Diego, California, United States

Annual base salary: $175,000–$250,100, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Define and execute a multi-year global technology roadmap for Finance and Accounting solutions.
• Modernize and standardize financial systems, processes, and application architecture.
• Lead enterprise Finance technology programs, global ERP initiatives, integrations, and continuous optimization.
• Ensure financial solutions support performance, scalability, reliability, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and internal controls.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, analytics, business intelligence, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead global technology teams and external partners while managing vendors, budgets, service delivery, KPIs, and investment ROI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including significant experience with Finance and Accounting systems.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing global teams and complex enterprise initiatives.
• Proven experience implementing and managing global ERP and financial technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Finance functions and experience working in global organizations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from Marlborough, MA, or San Diego, CA.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications.
• Experience with enterprise integrations, financial analytics platforms, and automation technologies.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, workflow automation, and emerging digital capabilities in Finance.
