HCM Techno-Functional Senior Analyst (PeopleSoft)

What you will do

• Lead automation initiatives and support modernization of Corporate HCM systems.
• Serve as the functional and technical subject matter expert for Core HCM and advise HR stakeholders.
• Elicit requirements, analyze business processes and data flows, and translate them into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support HCM applications, reports, dashboards, analytics, and integrations.
• Manage system development lifecycle activities, production migrations, incidents, defects, outage responses, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers, analysts, developers, data teams, and MCIT partners while mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience supporting and enhancing PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 with PeopleTools 8.60 or higher in a senior techno-functional role.
• Strong experience with Core HR, Compensation, Talent Management/Development, HCM data models, tables, and structures.
• Proficiency with Application Designer, PeopleCode, Security, PS Query, Integration Broker, SQL, APIs, flat files, and middleware integrations.
• Experience with solution design, development, testing, deployment, production support, documentation, SDLC, change management, and enterprise data analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle sensitive HR data.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale ERP implementations, upgrades, or enterprise transformation programs.
• Experience with Workday or Oracle Cloud HCM implementations and PeopleSoft coexistence or transitions.
• Experience in an academic medical center or another highly regulated enterprise environment.
• Experience with Databricks, cloud technologies, integration platforms, analytics tools, AI, LLMs, or agentic automation frameworks.
