Director, Development Operations and Systems (Salesforce)

Location: Remote-based in the United States

Annual salary: $130,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience

What you will do

• Assess, clean up, rebuild, and configure the Salesforce CRM across affiliated entities.
• Establish Salesforce as the source of truth for donor records, pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue reporting.
• Build and operationalize moves management workflows with stages, tasks, next-action tracking, portfolio reviews, and dashboards.
• Lead adoption of Jira and Confluence, including Salesforce integration, documentation architecture, training, and change management.
• Build systems for contract tracking, invoicing, deliverables, and compliance across vended services agreements.
• Manage and develop the Senior Development Manager while coordinating with leadership, Finance, IT, Data, and external implementation partners.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of progressively responsible development operations experience.
• Deep hands-on Salesforce experience in a fundraising context, including Nonprofit Success Pack or a comparable implementation.
• Experience leading CRM cleanup, migration, or rebuilds and establishing trusted systems of record.
• Experience designing adopted moves management or pipeline systems, including stage design, task workflows, and change management.
• Strong data architecture, reporting, dashboard-building, data hygiene, and revenue forecasting skills.
• Experience managing and developing experienced professionals with a coaching orientation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and team-wide tool adoption.
• Knowledge of nonprofit finance operations, including gift processing, reconciliation, contracts, invoicing, and compliance.
• Experience supporting fundraising across affiliated 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities.
• Experience managing consultants, implementation partners, vendors, and vended service revenue.
• Salesforce Administrator certification.
