Manager, Finance Transformation (Versant Media)

Location: Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States. Hybrid role with office attendance generally required a minimum of three days per week. External candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview.

Salary: USD 100,000–125,000 per year, bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Lead finance transformation roadmap workstreams and align delivery plans with financial reporting, control, and operating-model objectives.
• Act as the finance liaison to the ERP core team, Technology, system integrators, business-unit finance teams, and external partners.
• Translate accounting, reporting, control, and finance requirements into ERP process, master data, workflow, and reporting designs across Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash.
• Guide data conversion, validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover, integration, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Embed SOX, internal-control, close, reconciliation, consolidation, and external-reporting requirements into future-state solutions.
• Drive adoption, continuous improvement, automation, and AI enablement across Finance while managing scope, deliverables, quality, and transformation KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, controllership, finance systems, accounting operations, or related roles, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Significant experience leading enterprise ERP or finance-system transformation programs; SAP S/4HANA or another modern cloud ERP platform is preferred.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, master data governance, U.S. GAAP, public-company reporting, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Experience with business-process redesign, data conversion and reconciliation, testing, cutover, organizational change management, post-go-live stabilization, and managed-service relationships.
• Experience working with technology organizations, system integrators, third-party implementation partners, and senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Nice to have

• CPA, MBA, or comparable advanced finance, accounting, or technology credential.
• Experience in media, entertainment, digital, advertising, networks, streaming, technology, or another complex, high-volume industry.
• Experience applying AI, automation, analytics, or emerging technologies within Finance.
