Robot Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Tech campus; the commitment section also states that the role is available to candidates local to Miami, Florida. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with AM shifts from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and PM shifts from 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. Remote work is not available, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, and mechanical and electrical robot components.
• Install, configure, and replace LiDAR, camera, ultrasonic, and other sensor systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, investigate incidents, and repair robot fleet systems.
• Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including suspension and battery components.
• Support deployment, testing, validation, and field operation of autonomous delivery robots at local sites.
• Document service findings and manage inventory, equipment, and replacement parts.

Requirements

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, measuring equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical or electromechanical systems and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation and understand AC/DC electrical safety.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to work in workshop and field environments.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and strong collaboration skills.
• Must already be authorized to work in the United States; relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, electric vehicles, robotics, or autonomous systems.
• Soldering, wire crimping, computer proficiency, or familiarity with diagnostic tools.
