TL;DR

hirify.global operates an airline business requiring aircraft, engine parts, materials, supplies, and related services for Technical Operations.

What you will do

  • Analyze Technical Operations spare-parts requirements and source cost-effective materials, parts, supplies, and services.
  • Develop statements of work and requests for proposals, manage supplier proposals, recommend suppliers, and negotiate contracts.
  • Create, issue, monitor, and analyze purchase orders generated for Technical Operations.
  • Manage part shortages, alternate suppliers, delivery schedules, supplier performance, service levels, and contract compliance.
  • Produce spend, savings, project-status, contract-management, and SOX reports while identifying process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for suppliers and major subcontractors and resolve purchasing issues with Technical Operations and Accounts Payable.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent purchasing experience.
  • At least three years of experience in purchasing or a similar business accounting or finance environment.
  • Experience with purchasing and contract negotiation, strong analytical skills, and spreadsheet-modeling knowledge.
  • General understanding of FAA regulations, including FAR Part 121 operations.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, operate in a 24/7 environment when needed, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of aviation maintenance, supply chain, and contracts.
  • Purchasing or supply-management certification.
  • Trax experience.
  • Previous supply-chain experience in the aviation or airline sector.
