What you will do

• Implement and evaluate education, training, competency assessment, and professional development programs for oncology nursing staff.
• Support oncology nurse navigators with clinical issues, symptom management, patient education, and evidence-based practice changes.
• Coordinate unit-based orientation, including schedules, preceptors, weekly check-ins, and orientation records.
• Mentor nurses and collaborate with professional development specialists, clinical practice specialists, nurse directors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate nursing student placements and maintain communication regarding student performance.
• Assess care quality and patient outcomes, support audits, and contribute to safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BSN degree required.
• Current RN license in Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire required.
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including 1 year of oncology experience.
• Expertise in oncology clinical practice, evidence-based practice, competency models, and simulation standards.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, mentoring, and educational technology skills.
• Professional certification such as NPD-BC, an oncology-specific certification, or another relevant certification is required within 3 years of hire.
