Senior Staff Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Set the long-term technical direction for tools supporting team structure and roadmap delivery.
• Define system orchestration patterns that scale across application architectures and maturity levels.
• Make architectural tradeoffs involving reliability, operability, and development speed.
• Integrate vendor and bespoke platforms to create unified developer experiences.
• Develop software ownership standards, team practices, access models, and high-velocity development workflows.
• Lead AI-first planning and connect technology outcomes, reliability, and business KPIs across the technology organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in fault tolerance, resilience, recovery design, and partial-failure scenarios.
• Proven organization-level technical leadership beyond a single team.
• Experience shaping shared platforms or frameworks used by multiple teams.
• Strongly preferred: experience with durable execution or workflow orchestration, Golang, microservices, Kubernetes, developer tooling, and data-driven observability.
