Senior SAP Manager (Public Sector Services)

Location: Remote, Germany; service region: Germany, France, and Switzerland. Willingness to travel 20–40% is required.

What you will do

• Lead teams across multiple management levels and develop the organization, talent, and employee retention.
• Plan resources and optimize team utilization across the service organization.
• Expand public-sector business, identify new market opportunities, and support business development, tenders, and contract processes.
• Build long-term customer relationships, strategic partnerships, and key-account networks.
• Own the project portfolio for quality, budget, deadlines, and customer satisfaction, acting as an escalation point for critical issues.
• Develop project standards, methods, best practices, products, and solutions with development, sales, and management.

Requirements

• College degree in business information systems, business administration, public administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of leadership experience in IT consulting, preferably managing teams with multiple leadership levels.
• Proven success managing complex projects and building business operations.
• Knowledge of SAP public-sector modules such as PSM and PSCD, including the underlying processes.
• Extensive public-sector knowledge, especially local governments, public tenders, and procurement procedures.
• Business-level German at C1 and good English skills; willingness to travel 20–40%.
