Assistant Store Manager I

Location: Leeds, Alabama, USA (Grand River - Coach)

Base pay: $18.50–$31.50 per hour

What you will do

• Partner with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals through forecasting, planning, KPI monitoring, and category initiatives.
• Deliver Coach service standards, resolve customer issues, and represent the brand in the store and community.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop team members while building a strong talent pipeline.
• Support virtual shopping, clienteling, customer data acquisition, and social media-led customer engagement.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, visual merchandising, safety, policy compliance, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with district and corporate teams on market insights, store strategies, and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion experience is preferred.
• Strong customer focus and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems; knowledge of omnichannel services and clienteling strategies.
• Strong English proficiency required; ability to work nights, weekends, public holidays, and peak retail periods. Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs, and perform physical stockroom and sales-floor duties.
