Sourcing Project Manager Global Technology

Location: CDR (Amsterdam - Cedar), Netherlands. Hybrid working combines home working with office collaboration.

What you will do

• Lead global source-to-contract processes and complex technology sourcing initiatives.
• Define sourcing approaches, identify business requirements, research markets, run RFx events, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts.
• Manage critical and strategic supplier contracts, including approvals, onboarding, signatures, and supplier phase-out.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams while advising senior stakeholders and coaching procurement colleagues.
• Manage strategic supplier performance, quality assessments, supplier dialogues, and contractual compliance.
• Support the transition to a category-focused procurement model and embed category management practices across locations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• More than 6 years of tactical or strategic procurement experience in an international financial services organization.
• More than 5 years of experience in strategic technology contract sourcing, complex negotiations, project management, transformation, and migration programs.
• More than 2 years of experience coaching procurement colleagues and experience leading large-scale procurement programs.
• Deep knowledge of banking, procurement processes, regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and emerging trends.
• Perfectly fluent English for spoken and written business communication.

Nice to have

• Experience leading complex RFx processes and contract negotiations involving more than €5M in spend.
• Strong senior-level stakeholder networks in global matrix organizations.
• Experience with procurement transformation, sustainable procurement, leadership, and conflict resolution.
