Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Onsite engineering role with up to 15% travel. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of War security clearance.

What you will do

  • Provide entry-level analytical and technical support for propulsion-drive engineering projects, systems, and subsystems.
  • Support engine control law implementation, electromagnetic interference evaluations, and hardware-in-the-loop and EMI test bench operations.
  • Review test plans, reports, design documentation, engineering change proposals, technical drawings, manuals, and operating procedures.
  • Participate in test witnessing, data collection, post-test evaluations, hardware inspections, and technical reviews.
  • Assist with root cause analysis, failure investigations, defect reporting, trade studies, and technical data correlation.
  • Document engineering processes, methodologies, and technical analyses using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Requirements

  • Must be a junior or higher currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or aerospace engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of control system theory, engine control laws, electrical circuit analysis, and digital and analog signals.
  • Familiarity with EMI and EMC fundamentals, shielding, and grounding principles.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pinout configurations, and bills of materials.
  • Hands-on familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other electrical laboratory equipment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of War security clearance.
