Vice President (Finance)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Onsite role with domestic travel required approximately once or twice a month.

Annual base salary: $174,000–$300,000, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze capital structures and advise debt issuers on leverage, liquidity, maturity management, covenants, and reporting requirements.
• Develop financing optimization analyses covering warehouse funding, term loans, asset sales and purchases, and securitizations.
• Structure transaction documentation and offering materials, including cash flow models, credit agreements, offering memorandums, and indentures.
• Execute securitization transactions by preparing marketing materials, engaging with investors, and coordinating with sales and trading.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, controllers, operations, counsel, accounting firms, rating agencies, trustees, and transaction teams.
• Lead training sessions for interns and junior analysts and improve internal processes to reduce operational risk.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field plus 3 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree in one of these fields plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience communicating complex securitization structures, lending terms, risks, and representations and warranties to senior management.
• Experience in credit risk research, debt instrument analysis, secured debt capital markets, and the debt ratings process.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P Ratings, and Intex.
• Experience analyzing credit documents, financing transactions, cash flow models, debt structures, and assets across consumer, real estate, student lending, fintech, and specialty finance sectors.
• FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses required.
