Digital High-Speed & Bindery Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: Union, NJ, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and expertise

What you will do

• Set up and operate multiple high-speed digital print production machines according to production schedules.
• Download and prepare documents and graphic files from network and electronic sources.
• Verify job specifications, paper stocks, production requirements, and print quality throughout each run.
• Troubleshoot routine print-production issues and complete required production documentation.
• Operate bindery, folding, finishing, and perfect-binding equipment as needed.
• Coordinate workflow with production, finishing, mailing, warehouse, and shipping teams, while training and assisting other operators.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of digital print production experience in a commercial print, transactional print, direct mail, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating high-speed digital print equipment in a production setting.
• Strong bindery and finishing experience, including folding, binding, or related post-print operations.
• Knowledge of color correction, color calibration, print-quality inspection, and color management.
• Understanding of paper stocks, print specifications, and production workflow requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with continuous-feed inkjet, cut-sheet inkjet, Horizon finishing equipment, or perfect binders.
• Experience training or mentoring other operators.
