Technical Recruiter (Engineering)

Location: Hybrid work from the Berlin or Potsdam office, Germany; collaboration with teams in Singapore across time zones.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end recruiting for engineering roles across the German and Singapore offices, from hiring-manager briefing through offer.
• Screen candidates, manage pipelines, and create a consistent candidate experience across both locations.
• Align recruiting processes, interview guides, and scorecards with hiring managers in Germany and Singapore.
• Run live coding challenges, assess candidates' technical reasoning, and evaluate results with hiring managers.
• Write engineering-focused job ads, conduct direct sourcing, and build long-term talent pipelines.
• Represent hirify.global at recruiting fairs, tech meetups, and developer communities while testing new sourcing channels and AI tools.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally hiring software engineers in-house at a technology or digital health company.
• Hands-on coding experience and the ability to assess unfamiliar stacks, including TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Go, React/Vue, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong writing, direct sourcing, Boolean search, and candidate outreach skills.
• Experience recruiting across locations and time zones, ideally including APAC.
• Fluent, professional-level English required for communication with candidates and stakeholders in Germany and Singapore.
• Experience with Personio, LinkedIn Recruiter, and common ATS or sourcing tools; SAP HRM is a plus.

• Experience hiring data scientists or product managers.
• German for collaboration with external partners in Germany.
• Experience browsing GitHub and participating in developer communities.
• Experience with SAP HRM.
