Area Manager II - Late Shift

Location: RNO4 - Reno, NV - Milan Dr, United States. Onsite role with a Monday–Friday shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends may be required.

What you will do

• Lead and develop warehouse associates and operations leads to achieve daily goals.
• Execute inventory accuracy processes, including bin accuracy, shrink control, and variance investigation.
• Coordinate with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and operations leaders to resolve operational and personnel issues.
• Use workload planning tools and the Order Management System to complete scheduled workloads and fulfill orders to required standards.
• Implement process improvements and workload-efficiency mechanisms.
• Work across multiple warehouse functions while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience with warehouse management or inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Basic clerical, data-entry, and mathematical skills, with close attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, build effective working relationships, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift or transport up to 20 lbs. and use material-handling equipment such as forklifts in a distribution-center environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain/logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process-improvement methods.
