Cafe Manager (Hospitality)

Location: Los Angeles, US; based at a cafe in Beverly Hills

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Launch and lead a cafe in Beverly Hills, establishing strong operating standards and an exceptional customer experience.
• Recruit, train, coach, mentor, schedule, and develop a large hospitality team.
• Maintain food and beverage quality, recipe execution, customer service, and production standards.
• Manage ordering, vendor relationships, inventory counts, waste management, equipment, and supply availability.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, facilities, pest control, and operational audit performance.
• Build local relationships, own neighborhood financial and NPS performance, and collaborate with other General Managers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing single-unit operations in high-growth hospitality or retail brands.
• Experience managing large hospitality teams.
• Experience with inventory management and supply chain ordering.
• Strong customer service, hospitality, organizational, interpersonal, communication, delegation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage change, resolve conflicts, troubleshoot problems, and develop staff across leadership, hospitality, product, and service quality.
• Hands-on, action-oriented leadership style with knowledge of or interest in specialty coffee, hospitality, restaurants, or retail.
