Location: Ayer, Massachusetts, United States; onsite kitchen role

Salary: $61,000–$79,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, preparation, cooking, production, presentation, and service execution.
• Lead, hire, train, mentor, and coach kitchen staff while building an inclusive, high-performing team.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, allergen management, temperature checks, audits, and equipment maintenance.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, waste tracking, food costs, labor costs, and production planning.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, presentation, timing, and guest hospitality.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a high-volume foodservice environment, including 1–2 years of kitchen leadership or management experience.
• Current Food Safety Certification; ServSafe or another approved certification is required within 90 days of employment or promotion.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cost control, communication, organization, and team leadership.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work for extended periods standing near heat, cold, and wet surfaces.
• High school diploma and minimum age of 18 required.
