Assistant Area Manager (Hospitality)

Location: Port Aransas, Texas, United States; on-site. Must reside in the designated area and frequently travel to properties within the market.

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 per year, plus a performance bonus.

What you will do

• Support daily operations across hirify.global properties and act as market lead and personnel manager when required.
• Communicate with property owners, review owner distribution statements, and maintain owner satisfaction standards.
• Coordinate, train, coach, and evaluate field operations personnel.
• Monitor and resolve guest and homeowner concerns through email, calls, texts, Slack, and tickets.
• Inspect properties, identify quality and compliance issues, and coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, supplies, and inventory.
• Participate in rotating after-hours on-call coverage and travel frequently between properties.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Experience in the vacation rental industry.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must reside in the designated Port Aransas area and be available for on-site work, frequent driving, weekends, holidays, and rotating after-hours on-call coverage.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Ability to spend most working time standing, walking, and driving, and to perform physical activities including bending, kneeling, climbing, carrying, and occasionally lifting more than 25 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in hospitality and/or real estate.
• Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation.
