Assistant Manager - Kitchen Stewards (Hospitality)

Location: Everett, Massachusetts, USA; onsite hospitality and kitchen-floor work

Salary: USD 69,000–71,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage stewarding staff, departmental goals, procedures, performance, and daily operations.
• Conduct inspections and maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Ensure food and beverage outlets comply with health, fire, safety, sanitation, OSHA, and company standards.
• Run daily pre-shift meetings, coordinate communication, and address guest and team member concerns.
• Manage hiring, training, performance feedback, employee engagement, and positive working relationships.
• Maintain inventory and supplies, order cleaning chemicals, and prepare operational reports.

Requirements

• At least three years of stewarding experience; one year of leadership experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent English required; a second language is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, plus planning and project management experience.
• Knowledge of chemicals, SDS, personal protective equipment, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Registration or licensing through the Massachusetts Gaming Commission is required. ServSafe or equivalent certification is preferred.
