Plant HR Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: 181 Random Dr, New London, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing plant role

Base salary: $40,000–$60,500 USD annually, plus participation in an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Resolve associate concerns and support positive employee relations in a fast-paced production environment.
• Partner with EHS and Operations to strengthen safety culture and support an inclusive, accountable workplace.
• Assist with investigations involving employee concerns, policy violations, complaints, and workplace conflicts.
• Support leave and accommodation cases, onboarding, employee records, status changes, and offboarding.
• Serve as the main timekeeper for Fiberon and partner with Payroll to execute weekly payroll processes.
• Prepare workforce reports, audit HR data, improve processes, and maintain SOPs and documentation.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or another operational environment.
• Strong administrative, reporting, data management, organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, and UKG Workforce Management.
• Ability to work onsite at the New London, North Carolina manufacturing location.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or another HR certification.
• Experience analyzing HR metrics, championing safety culture, or leading continuous improvement initiatives.
