Product Manager (Technical)

Location: Elizabeth, New Jersey, United States; on-site. Headquarters in Elizabeth, NJ, with an additional office in Somerville, MA. Shuttle service is available from Brooklyn and Newark, NJ.

Salary: $201,000–$231,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Scope projects end to end, clarify business value and customer needs, and write complete product requirements.
• Identify and prioritize the internal tools with the greatest impact on manual workflows and information flow.
• Embed with business workstreams to understand operational problems and define practical solutions.
• Partner directly with the CTO’s engineering team to negotiate scope, challenge estimates, and deliver against committed dates.
• Bring structure to ambiguous initiatives, manage milestones, and adapt across changing product domains.
• Build and use AI-powered tools for requirements drafting, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Mid-senior product management experience with the ability to work independently.
• Hands-on experience collaborating directly with engineering teams and negotiating scope and estimates.
• Sustained experience writing product requirements documents and independently delivering projects end to end.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge senior stakeholders when scope, timelines, or resources do not align.
• Fluency with modern AI tools, including LLMs, automation platforms, and workflow builders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience; must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience working alongside ML, hardware, scientific, or R&D-heavy teams.
• Experience moving across different product domains in a small, fast-moving company.
• Experience driving alignment without formal authority.
• Experience shipping internal tooling that reduced manual work or improved information flow.
