Director, EMEA Communications (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Develop and execute an integrated EMEA communications strategy aligned with business priorities, market growth, and corporate reputation.
• Create earned-media opportunities around company news, product innovation, executive thought leadership, original research, and industry trends.
• Lead executive communications and thought-leadership programs that strengthen regional leaders’ profiles and the corporate narrative.
• Partner with global communications, Product Marketing, Threat Research, Customer Advocacy, Analyst Relations, regional marketing, and executives.
• Build relationships with business, technology, and cybersecurity media across EMEA.
• Manage PR agencies across multiple markets and advise regional executives on media, reputation, and corporate positioning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably in enterprise technology or cybersecurity.
• Proven success developing strategic communications programs that generate high-impact earned media across EMEA.
• Exceptional storytelling skills, including the ability to translate complex technology, data, and research into compelling narratives.
• Experience advising and preparing senior executives for media, speaking engagements, and thought-leadership opportunities.
• Experience with proactive communications, rapid-response media opportunities, external PR agencies, and measurable business outcomes.
• Strong relationships with business, technology, and cybersecurity journalists across Europe, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or enterprise software.
• Experience working in a high-growth global technology company and leading communications across multiple EMEA markets.
• Experience with corporate narratives, reputation-building, executive visibility, issues management, and high-stakes corporate communications.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity threat intelligence, incident response, technical research communication, and media measurement analytics.
