Communications & Policy Manager (Mental Health)

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom or hybrid from London. Full-time working pattern, 9:00–17:30.

Salary: £45,000–£60,000 per year, dependent on experience.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver communications strategies with marketing, creative teams, external agencies, and advisors.
• Write press releases, talking points, executive briefings, opinion pieces, policy position papers, and internal communications.
• Support crisis communications and rapid-response activity.
• Monitor cultural, policy, legislative, and regulatory developments affecting the business and translate them into actionable leadership insights.
• Build relationships with policymakers, clinical leaders, campaign groups, regulators, and industry coalitions.
• Lead tools and systems for tracking communications and policy impact, including opportunities to automate workflows with data science colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience in communications, public affairs, policy, or a related field.
• Ability to write clearly and persuasively for media, policymakers, executives, and the public.
• Strong understanding of the policy and regulatory environment relevant to mental health.
• Strong project management, administrative, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent judgement, discretion, creativity, and ability to work independently under time pressure.
• Confidence collaborating in a remote, geographically dispersed team.
