Senior Revenue Analyst (ASC 606/842)

Location: USA - Remote; the position is fully remote from the employee's home, with approximately 5% travel.

Annual salary: $83,000–$115,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Review capital placement agreements and determine operating versus sales-type lease classification under ASC 842.
• Analyze non-standard terms and conditions in customer orders and contracts and develop revenue recognition conclusions under ASC 606.
• Perform accounting for distribution rebates and chargebacks.
• Provide technical support for revenue-related month-end close activities and audit requests.
• Lead and support automation initiatives that streamline revenue operations processes.
• Develop functional expertise in SAP Quote-to-Cash and the Revenue Accounting and Reporting module.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong hands-on knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new accounting concepts, standards, and technical literature.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Big Four accounting firm or public/private industry.
• ERP implementation experience, including UAT, data validation, and data analytics.
• Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA and the SAP RAR module.
