Sr Accountant

Location: Remote; preferred work arrangement is hybrid, based in American Fork, Utah. Applicants residing in Delaware, Hawaii, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Vermont, Puerto Rico, and other US territories are not currently eligible.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year, plus an eligible bonus target.

What you will do

• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, subsidiary financial statements, and supporting schedules under US GAAP.
• Review subsidiary balance sheets, document account movements, and record monthly consolidation and adjusting entries.
• Manage deferred revenue roll-forwards and support revenue recognition as the subject matter expert.
• Calculate development capitalization, reconcile intercompany accounts, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare local-currency cash flow files and support fixed-asset disposal analysis.
• Coordinate quarterly footnote reporting, consolidate international trial balances, and reconcile the consolidated P&L using NetSuite.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in software revenue recognition and ASC 606.
• Strong proficiency in US GAAP, HFM, NetSuite or comparable consolidation and reporting systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong planning, analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience.
• Certified Public Accountant designation.
• Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Copilot for analysis, reporting, or workflow improvement.
