Senior Accountant (Revenue Recognition)

What you will do

• Review customer contracts and assess performance obligations, transaction prices, variable consideration, and allocation methods under ASC 606.
• Prepare revenue recognition analyses, technical memoranda, journal entries, reconciliations, and close-process reporting.
• Validate revenue system outputs and resolve variances across sub-ledgers, billing, and the general ledger.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, FP&A, Product, Engineering, Pricing, and regional accounting teams on revenue implications and deal structuring.
• Perform SOX controls, prepare audit documentation, and respond to external auditor inquiries.
• Improve revenue processes through standardized workflows, automation, and governance practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in revenue recognition, technical accounting, audit, or corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with complex, global revenue arrangements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and lead teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented judgment, logical decision-making, and a hands-on approach.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience in SaaS, technology, or multi-product global companies.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Oracle, or Cognos.
